The Man Behind The Method
How I broke the cycle of escape, rebuilt from identity, and now help men do the same.
Hi, I’m Brad Kreitzer — founder of the Be Better Men’s Program and creator of the ERASE™ Method. I help men break free from cycles of porn, self-sabotage, and disconnection so they can regain control of their energy, build real confidence, and lead their life and relationships with clarity.
Because I lived that cycle myself.
What looked like discipline on the outside was actually a pattern of pushing hard… then crashing when the pressure built. And it wasn’t until I was forced to face where that path was leading that I realized something deeper:
It wasn’t a discipline problem.
It was that I didn’t know how to hold myself.
This is the story of how I rebuilt—and the work I now teach.
The Version of Me That Looked Like He Had It Together
From the outside, I looked driven, disciplined, and on track. I competed nationally in javelin, pushed myself physically and mentally, and had opportunities most people would chase. But underneath, I was stuck in a cycle I didn’t understand—porn, drinking or substances, pushing hard for a while… then crashing when the pressure built. I wasn’t lacking discipline—I just didn’t know how to hold my ownf when life got tough. I was performing on the surface while slowly losing control underneath.
When Everything Caught Up To Me
Eventually, life forced me to face where I was heading—and the man I was becoming. It wasn’t gradual. It was a moment that put everything into perspective and stripped away the illusion that I had control. I almost lost my life because of my poor choices. And in that moment, I made a decision: no more drifting, no more numbing, no more outsourcing my power. I stopped trying to force change—and committed to rebuilding, even if I didn’t fully know how yet.
Learning How to Rebuild From the Inside Out
That’s when things began to shift. I stopped focusing on surface-level discipline and started rebuilding from identity—learning how to regulate my state, direct my energy, and create structure in my life. Through yoga, nervous system work, and consistent practice, I began to feel grounded in my body again and clear in my mind. It wasn’t fast or glamorous—but it was real.
And as I rebuilt myself, I started to see the same patterns in other men. Disconnected, carrying pressure, unsure how to deal with what was underneath it all. So I began working with them—creating spaces for men to slow down, reconnect, and learn how to handle themselves differently.
Over time, the habits I relied on lost their grip—not because I forced them out, but because I no longer needed them.
The Life That Came From Doing the Work
As I rebuilt myself, everything around me began to change. I built a deeply connected, intimate relationship rooted in presence, honesty, and real connection—not performance. I stopped trying to be who I thought I needed to be and started showing up as who I actually was.
That changed how I showed up in everything. In my relationship, I became more present, more grounded, and more honest—no longer avoiding, controlling, or checking out when things got uncomfortable. There was more depth, more polarity, and a level of connection I hadn’t experienced before.
That shift didn’t just change my habits—it changed how I relate, how I lead, and how I live.
What My Life Looks Like Now
Today, I’ve been porn-free and substance-free for over a decade. I live and work from Costa Rica, and I guide men around the world through this same process of rebuilding themselves from the inside out—helping them regain control of their habits, reconnect to their energy, and create a life they don’t feel the need to escape from.
This work is grounded in lived experience and refined through training in psychology, nervous system regulation, yoga, and masculine development. But at its core, it’s about something much simpler.
Helping a man learn how to hold himself—so he can move through pressure, lead himself with clarity, and follow through on the life he knows he’s capable of.
Why I Do This Work
Because I know what it’s like to look fine on the outside but feel stuck in cycles you can’t break. To rely on habits you know are holding you back. To feel the gap between who you are—and who you know you could be. And I also know this: when a man learns to regulate himself, direct his energy, and take responsibility for his life, he no longer needs escape.
The Work I Now Teach
That realization became the foundation of everything I teach. Real change isn’t about willpower—it’s about becoming the kind of man who no longer needs to escape. That’s what the ERASE™ Method is built for: stabilizing the man, reclaiming his energy, breaking the patterns, and building a life he actually wants to live.
